We have been freeing people from their ametropia for over 30 years – with optimal treatment results. 2. Qualified medical team in continuous further education

We focus on the optimal restoration of vision and the safety of our patients. We work together with over 30 specialists in ophthalmology throughout Germany. Our medical team undergoes constant training to keep their knowledge up to date. Thanks to the high number of treatments, our doctors have a great deal of experience and some are certified as Lasik trainers by the KRC (Commission for Refractive Surgery). They also attend internal congresses and events and take part in national and international medical congresses.

3. Use of modern Technology

The CARE Vision locations in Germany are equipped with the EX500 excimer laser system from Erlangen-based company Wave Light or the AMARIS 500 E from Schwind. Both laser devices deliver excellent results and enable fast, safe treatments that are tailored to the patient down to the last detail.

We only use high-quality lenses for our lens implantations: We use the latest generation of trifocal lenses to correct presbyopia and cataracts. Thanks to these lenses, our patients can see again at all distances and say goodbye to their reading glasses.

Ich hatte meine Augen-OP bei Care Vision und bin echt mega happy mit dem Ergebnis! 🙌

An zwei Tagen, zwei Augen, ein völlig neues Lebensgefühl. Ich hatte vor einer Woche meine Linsenaustausch Op bei Care Vision- und schon wenige Stunden später konnte ich lesen und schreiben ohne Brille. Ich war bei Care Vision Darmstadt zur Beratung sowie zu den Vor- und Nachuntersuchungen und habe mich vom ersten Moment an total wohlgefühlt.

Ich möchte diese Bewertung für alle schreiben, die — so wie ich damals — wegen einer trans PRK unsicher sind. Ende Oktober 2025 hatte ich meine Behandlung. Über Care Vision selbst muss ich gar nicht viel sagen — die sind top, das bestätigen viele andere Bewertungen. Mir geht es hier um die Methode.

Eigentlich wollte ich unbedingt LASIK, weil man überall hört, wie schmerzfrei sie ist und wie schnell man danach perfekt sieht. Aufgrund meiner unregelmäßigen Hornhaut war das bei mir aber nicht möglich, und mir wurde die trans PRK angeboten. Als ich dann gelesen habe, dass der Heilungsprozess länger dauern kann, man Geduld mitbringen muss, Schmerzen auftreten können, man mehrere Tage und Nächte am Stück Schutzkontaktlinsen tragen muss und dass manche sogar (warum auch immer) die Entscheidung für die PRK-Methode bereuen, war ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich verunsichert.

Heute kann ich sagen: Viele Sorgen waren unbegründet. Ich hatte so gut wie keine Schmerzen. Ich habe vorsorglich Schmerztabletten genommen, als die Betäubung nachließ — einfach, weil ich gar nicht erst ausprobieren wollte, wie es ohne wäre. Meine Augen haben etwa zwei Tage stark getränt, was völlig normal und sogar hilfreich ist. Lichtempfindlich war ich nicht, nur in den ersten Nächten hatte ich leichte Halos.

Wichtig ist: Man hört oft, dass man beim Heilungsprozess Geduld haben muss — und das stimmt. Am Anfang habe ich täglich Fortschritte bemerkt, dann kam plötzlich eine Phase, in der ich ein paar Tage wieder schlechter gesehen habe. Das kann verunsichern, aber diese Schwankungen gehören zum Heilungsverlauf dazu. Davon sollte man sich nicht entmutigen lassen.

Ich habe mir eine Woche Urlaub genommen und konnte danach wieder arbeiten. Anfangs war meine Weitsicht schon super, während Bildschirmarbeit noch mühsam war. Nach etwas über einem Monat war alles perfekt: Ich sehe jetzt 125 %, ein Wert, den ich mit Brille nie erreicht hätte. Alles ist gestochen scharf! Man sollte bei dieser Methode Zeit mitbringen, denn es dauert eben etwas.

Für mich ist es ein komplett neues Lebensgefühl. Die OP selbst ist schmerzfrei, auch wenn man natürlich Respekt davor hat, dass am Auge gearbeitet wird. Aber ich kann heute sagen: Das Ergebnis ist jede Unsicherheit wert. Wenn du gerade zweifelst — nimm einen kleinen Leidensweg in Kauf und halte dich genau an den Tropfenplan, dann wird das Ergebnis großartig. Die trans PRK hat mein Leben verändert, und ich bin wahnsinnig happy, dass ich es gemacht habe.

Ich habe im Sommer letzten Jahres ICL Linsen bekommen. Der Eingriff und die Untersuchung verliefen problemlos. Mit Ausgangswerten von über 8 Dioptrien plus Astigmatismus hat sich meine Lebensqualität nun deutlich verbessert, wenn es auch nicht ganz brillenfrei geworden ist. Ich habe noch eine leichte Verkrümmung und trage bei Bildschirmarbeit und zum Fahren nun eine schöne große Brille, was vorher aufgrund der Glasdicke unmöglich war!
