Career

Dr. Anton Yermalitski began his studies in human medicine at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2008 and successfully completed them in 2014. Then he dedicated himself to specializing in ophthalmology and worked as a junior doctor at various renowned institutions. From 2015 to 2017, he worked in the eye clinic at Klinikum Nürnberg Nord and completed his doctorate at Charité in 2017 while continuing his specialist training.

Then Dr. Yermalitski continued his training as an assistant doctor at the practice of Dr. Kind, Dr. Kariger-Schweigert in Falkensee, where he worked until 2020. During this time, he took many opportunities to intern at other clinics, such as the DRK Klinikum Berlin Westend and the Schlossparkklinik Berlin Charlottenburg. These surgical internships contributed significantly to his professional development. Between 2017 and 2020, he completed further training in ophthalmology in Falkensee near Berlin. In 2020, Dr. Yermalitski qualified as a specialist in ophthalmology and subsequently worked in various ophthalmology practices, including Dr. Brandl’s ophthalmology practice in Gäubodenpark.

In 2021, he was appointed Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). From 2023 to 2024, Dr. Yermalitski continued his surgical training at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Eye Clinic and expanded his expertise with additional specialized training in Straubing. His experience in cataract surgery, which he gained at the Albrecht von Gräfe Eye Clinic in Potsdam, was also particularly valuable.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yermalitski is continuing his law studies at the University of Hagen in order to develop a broader perspective on medical law issues. He also works as an interpreter for medical congresses and continues to be involved in scientific and practical training in ophthalmology.

During his career, he has published several scientific papers, including a 2022 publication on virus-associated uveitis, which he presented in the renowned journal Frontiers in Ophthalmology.
