Career
Specialist in ophthalmology MUDr. Branislav Jakubicka studied at Charles University in Prague from 2002 to 2009, where he graduated summa cum laude with the degree of Medicinae Universae Doctor (MUDr.).
From 2009 to 2012, Dr. Jakubicka worked as an assistant doctor at the Weiden Clinic in the Upper Palatinate and from 2011 to 2016 in the eye clinic at the Helios Clinic in Aue.
In 2016, Dr. Jakubicka became a specialist in ophthalmology in Dresden. After working in the field of refractive surgery at the iClinic German Eye Clinic from 2017 to 2018, he was employed at the Eye Factory Vienna until 2022.
Dr. Jakubicka has already published numerous publications and congress papers in the field of ophthalmology. He is a member of the European Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery (ESCRS), the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA), the Berufsverband der Augenärzte Deutschland e.V. (BVA) and the Deutsche ophthalmologische Gesellschaft (DOG). He joined our team in Vienna in 2023.
