Career
Carolin Hermsdorf studied medicine at Charité Berlin until 2015 and obtained her license to practice medicine in the same year. Along the way, Carolin Hermsdorf completed practical placements in Switzerland and the UK, among other countries. Following her license to practice medicine, she trained in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Ernst von Bergmann Clinic in Potsdam under the direction of Prof. Dr. A. Liekfeld. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a doctor in further training at the ophthalmology practice “Für Gross und Klein” and at the ophthalmology practice Dr. Irena Hermsdorf in Berlin. In 2022, she qualified as a specialist in ophthalmology and has been working in the field of refractive surgery at CARE Vision ever since. After various scientific activities at the Charité Berlin and the Ernst von Bergmann Klinikum Potsdam, she is currently working on her doctorate at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
