Career
Chrysanthi Papadopoulou completed her studies in human medicine at the University of Crete from 2001 to 2007. From 2005 to 2007, as part of her training as a doctor, she gained practical experience in the fields of general surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, neurology at the University Clinic Heraklion and paediatrics and gynecology at the University of Bologna.
Ms. Papadopoulou obtained her degree in human medicine in 2007. In the same year, she obtained her license to practice medicine in Greece and in 2008 in Germany.
During her career, she specialized in the field of ophthalmology and has been an ophthalmologist since 2013.
As an ophthalmologist, she worked as an assistant doctor in the ophthalmology department of the Frankfurt Höchst Clinic from 2008 to 2013. This was followed by a job in an ophthalmological practice from 2013 to 2015 and from 2015 to 2019 Ms. Papadopoulou worked as a specialist in the ophthalmology department at the Giessen University Hospital.
