Career
Dr. Med. Erik Wölfel completed his medical studies at the Medical Faculty of the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg. During his ophthalmological studies he worked in an ophthalmological practice in Herzogenaurach and Nuremberg as well as at the Dr. A. Klier Eye Clinic in Regensburg. He received his M.D. in 1998 and became a certified ophthalmologist in 1999. Dr. Med. Erik Wölfel has been in private practice and is part of a group practice in Herzogenaurach since 1999. He has regularly been performing refractive surgeries since 2002.
