Jana Blazevska, FEBO

Dr. med. univ. Jana Blazevska completed her medical studies at the Medical University of Innsbruck from 2007 to 2014 and received her doctorate in medicine (Dr. med. univ.). She completed her specialist training in ophthalmology at renowned clinics and ophthalmological centres, including the Eye Clinic at Nuremberg North Hospital and the Veni Vidi Eye Centre in Cologne. In 2021, Dr Blazevska obtained her specialist qualification in ophthalmology in Germany. In 2022, she was appointed a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). During her further training and residency, she regularly attended German and international congresses (ESCRS, World Congress of Ophthalmology) and wet labs to continuously improve her surgical skills. After obtaining her specialist title, Dr Blazevska worked independently for several years as a specialist in ophthalmology at the Veni Vidi Eye Centre. She has experience in over 100 cataract operations with a focus on modern techniques and is seeking further specialisation in surgical procedures. She has been working at CARE Vision since 2026.
