Justin Oswald

Justin Oswald studied Human Medicine at the University of Leipzig from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, he successfully completed his State Examination and obtained his medical license. During his final year of medical training, Oswald gained valuable experience at several renowned institutions, including the Institute of Pathology in Leipzig, the Department of Internal Medicine at St. Georg Hospital Leipzig, the Department of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at SRH Wald-Klinikum Gera, and the Department of Orthopedics at Aarau Cantonal Hospital in Switzerland. These placements contributed significantly to his broad clinical training and medical expertise. Following his medical licensure, Oswald began his specialist training in ophthalmology. From September 2017 to September 2022, he worked as a resident ophthalmologist at the “Augenärzte am Markt” Eye Clinic in Halle under the supervision of Prof. Dr. med. habil. Claudia Grünauer-Kloevekorn, where he further developed his expertise in ophthalmology. From June to December 2019, Oswald also worked at the SRH Eye Clinic in Suhl, where he specialized in retinal surgery and gained valuable experience in this field. From 2022 to 2025, Justin Oswald served as a board-certified ophthalmologist at the “Augenärzte am Markt” Eye Clinic in Halle (Saale). During this time, he also held the position of Deputy Medical Director.

Since 2025, Justin Oswald has been part of the CARE Vision medical team.
