Career
Ms. Pacifico completed her medical studies at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. During her residency in ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Cáceres Spain, she worked on cataract, corneal, eyelid, strabismus, glaucoma, vitreous and retinal surgery, among others.
Ms. Pacifico has also worked as a research assistant at interdisciplinary centers in Barcelona (IMO and Vall d’Hebron University Hospital) Madrid (Ramón y Cajal University Hospital and University Hospital del Niño Jesús) Valladolid (IOBA) Mallorca (Son Dureta University Hospital).
She worked in the department of “Refractive Surgery” at Clinica Baviera in Valencia (Spain).
Ms. Pacifico’s specialties include refractive surgery (laser techniques), lens implantation (multifocal lenses, ICL, and toric lenses), laser therapy of the anterior and posterior segment of the eye, and glaucoma treatment.
