Robert Siggel

Dr. med. Robert Siggel began his medical training at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where he studied from August 2005. In 2012, he received his license to practice medicine and completed his doctorate at the FSU Jena. Dr. Siggel completed his specialist training at the Center for Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Cologne and graduated in 2017. Then he worked as a senior grader for clinical studies, a specialist at the university hospital’s MVZ and in outpatient and inpatient care at the university hospital. Since the end of 2018, he has worked as a specialist, since 2019 as a senior consultant and since 2024 in a senior consultant role at Helios University Hospital Wuppertal. Dr. Siggel has extensive surgical experience in corneal, lens/refractive and retinal surgery. Dr. Siggel has been at CARE Vision since 2024.

In addition, Dr. Siggel participates in teaching and research activities at the University of Witten/Herdecke, where he is a lecturer in ophthalmology.
