Specialist for Ophthalmology Yara Khaddour, FEBO

Ms. Khaddour completed her medical studies at the University of Damascus in Syria in 2004. At the same time, she was preparing for the British state examination, which she successfully passed in 2006 and thus obtained admission to practice as a doctor in Great Britain (GMC) University Hospital in Nottingham, UK.

Ms. Khaddour completed her further training in the field of ophthalmology from 2007 to 2011 at the Eye Clinic in Damascus. Ms. Khaddour spent part of her training at the Eye and Ear Center, Queens Medical Center, Nottingham University Hospital in Great Britain. Ms. Khaddour completed her residency in Syria in 2011. In 2015, Ms. Kaddour successfully passed the German specialist examination and worked at the Institute for Ophthalmology in Halle from 2013 to 2019.

During her residency in Syria, Great Britain and Germany, Ms. Khaddour learned the entire clinical spectrum of ophthalmology and gained operational experience in the cornea, lens, glaucoma and retina. Ms. Khaddour passed the European specialist examination for ophthalmology (FEBO) in 2017 and has been working for Care Vision since 2019.
