My name is Olivia, I am 45 years old, and I am finally free from glasses. 

My glasses affected me in so many everyday situations. They were especially frustrating when I was doing sports. I practice Krav Maga, a self-defense sport, and I constantly had to take my glasses off during training. Not only was it inconvenient, but it also limited my performance. There were also countless little moments in everyday life that bothered me. Every morning started with the same routine: looking for my glasses before I could even begin the day. Without them, I could hardly see anything. Before I could do anything else, I always had to think, “Where did I leave my glasses?” 

Eventually, I realized that I didn’t want to live like that anymore. I wanted the freedom to see clearly without depending on glasses. 

I Felt Comfortable from the Very Beginning 

My pre-operative examination took place at CARE Vision in Essen. The moment I arrived, I had a really good feeling. Everyone welcomed me warmly, took their time, and explained every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. Waking Up the Next Morning Was Simply Incredible 

The biggest “wow” moment came the morning after my treatment in Düsseldorf. I woke up as usual and immediately looked at the clock. For the first time, I could read it perfectly without reaching for my glasses. That moment is impossible to put into words. Since the treatment, my everyday life has completely changed. The difference is especially noticeable during Krav Maga. I can fully focus on my training without my glasses getting in the way or having to take them off during certain exercises. It truly feels like a whole new way of living. I never want to give up this freedom, whether in everyday life or while doing sports. 

I Would Make the Same Decision Again Without Hesitation 

For me, my treatment at CARE Vision was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
