I work as an HR administrator at CARE Vision and I am now free of glasses. Since CARE Vision has already helped so many people achieve better vision, I had a great deal of confidence in the treatment. At some point, I thought to myself: Why shouldn’t I also have the chance to undergo an laser eye surgery?

Problems with glasses

Before the treatment, glasses were part of my everyday life. They bothered me when riding a moped and while swimming. When travelling, I also always had to remember to take different pairs of glasses with me, for example prescription sunglasses as well as a regular pair. There were also hobbies I had not been able to try before. Today, I realise how much more freedom I have now that I can explore the world without glasses

Nervous at first, amazed by the results

On the day of the treatment, I was quite nervous. Although I knew how the treatment worked in theory, I still did not know exactly what to expect. However, the team immediately made me feel at ease, reassured me and gave me a good feeling. The warm and open atmosphere also helped me feel comfortable right away. The treatment itself was incredibly quick. With every movement and every minute, I could see more clearly. Just four hours after the treatment, I was already able to see really well. My eyes were only slightly red, and apart from that, I did not notice any other discomfort. During the check-up later that same day, it was confirmed that I had achieved 110% visual acuity. That was my absolute wow moment: it is hard to imagine how much quality of life you can gain from a treatment that takes only around ten minutes. But it really is possible!

Enjoying new experiences – without glasses in my luggage

I notice the difference most clearly first thing in the morning. I open my eyes and can see clearly straight away. I no longer have to look for my glasses first and can simply start my day. I also enjoy my new freedom when pursuing my hobbies and travelling. In Sardinia, for example, I tried snorkelling. In the past, my glasses would have got in the way. Today, I can experience new things without constantly having to think about which pair of glasses I need. If I had had the treatment five years ago, I probably would have tried many more hobbies and gained even more new experiences without glasses.
